To order any of our Econo Hosting packages, please fill-out our Online Virtual Hosting Order Form, and your account will be ready within 0 to 6 hours after we receive your order and process your payment. Please note that orders with new domain registration may take upto 12 hours for processing. Also, due to the standard propagation time for InterNIC updates, it may take 24-72 hours for a new domain to be functional across the Internet.

Econo Hosting Feature Explanation

Your Own Domain Name (www.yourname.com)

We configure the DNS entries for your domain name and host name (yourname.com and www.yourname.com) in our servers when we setup your account.

If you already have a domain name, you would need to modify your domain with the appropriate registry with our nameserver and IP address information for moving your domain to our servers. If you are not sure how to modify your domain, please contact us and we will provide the necessary information. Most registries do not charge anything for domain modification, but requires that only the Registrant or Admin Contact for a domain initiates or approves domain modification. You can verify Registrant or Admin Contact for your domain by using our Domain Lookup tool. Domain move does NOT involve any change in domain ownership or domain registrar.

If you order a new domain name, then we register your domain name with your ownership with an appropriate registry and charge you only $14.95 fee (one-year InterNIC or registry fee included!). This fee is non-refundable, requires pre-payment and is in addition to any hosting and setup fee.

If you would like to register your domain yourself or if you are ordering a foreign domain name, then we will provide our nameserver, IP address and technical contact information that you would need to register your domain with any appropriate registry. Please be advised that accurate entry of our nameserver information in the registry database is required before your domain name will work. Also, please note that the domain registry fee would apply, irrespective of the ISP or webhost you select to register or host your domain with. Most registries charge a non-refundable $30.00-$35.00 per year of domain registry fee and require pre-payment of the fee.

For your security, we require that any cancellation request must contain your domain name, account user name and password. We will refund all hosting fee that we received from you for the canceled account within 7 business days of your cancellation. (Setup fee and domain registry fee are non-refundable). All Econo accounts come with its FTP account and unlimited FTP access to your website on our servers, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year, so you can update your website any time you like using any standard FTP client software.

Free Traffic Included

The total traffic represents the total amount of data accessed by you or your site visitors through web browsers. You would be able to monitor your daily and weekly traffic using your control panel anytime.  If your account exceeds the limit or you anticipate that the account would exceed this limit, you could contact us and choose to upgrade traffic quota for your site by paying $2.00/month additional fee to get 4000 MB additinoal traffic per month. Depending on your current plan, we could also recommend you to switch to a higher grade Econo Virtual Hosting account under such circumstances. Almost 99% of our customers never need to pay for any additional traffic. Also, you would never get a surprise bill or charge for excess traffic for your website from us.

Super Fast SSD Storage

SSDs (Solid State Drives) are new generation of disks that use flash memory and are about 12 to 24 times faster than most traditional HDDs (Hard Disk Drives).  Compared to many other hosting providers, we use premium SSD storage for your website, which means your website would load much faster.

POP3 Email Accounts

All Econo hosting accounts come with multiple POP3 email accounts. A POP3 account is a password-authenticated protocol based real email account that can receive and store email messages. Your POP3 account will be yourname@yourdomain.com. The POP3 account can be accessed from anywhere in the world through any POP3-client software (like Windows Live Mail, Outlook, Outlook Express, Netscape) or third-party web-based email browsers. Also, any POP3 account can be the destination of multiple email aliases that you could configure using the cPanel Control Panel that is available in your account.

Web-based Email

With the webmail systems that we install in all Econo Hosting accounts, you will be able to access, compose, reply to, organize, and delete your email messages 24 hours a day from anywhere in the world with any standard web browser.

Unlimited Aliases with Catch-All Address

Econo Hosting accounts allow you to use unlimited email aliases with a catch-all address for your domain. For instance, you will be able to use addresses like webmaster@yourdomain.com, sales@yourdomain.com, admin@yourdomain.com and anynames@yourdomain.com. Email messages sent to anything before @yourdomain.com will automatically go to your default POP email account, or to your preferred external account that you have from your ISP or from any other provider. You will be able to manage your catch-all address using cPanel Web Control Panel 24 hours a day. (Please note that a "catch-all" email address usually gets targetted by spammers, and is not recommended if you are receiving good number of spams.  Also, forwarding catch-all email address to any third-party ISP's account is not recommended, and can potentially prompt your ISP to block all emails for your domain in the event of excessive incoming spam messages.  If you plan on using catch-all email address, then the best option to check, download and delete email messages directly from our servers on a regular basis).

Email Redirection

With email redirection option available to Econo Hosting accounts, you will be able to have messages received at selected addresses to be automatically forwarded to separate destination addresses.   For instance, you may decide to forward emails for webmaster@yourdomain.com to you@yourdomain.com, messages received at sales@yourdomain.com to be forwarded to john123@yahoo.com, and messages for support@yourdomain.com to go to mary@herisp.com and so on. You will be able to create, configure, update or delete the forwarding addresses instantly using cPanel Web Control Panel 24 hours a day.

Email Autoresponders

Econo Hosting accounts offer you the ability to have autoresponders for specific email addresses. Using autoresponders is a handy way to provide your clients requesting further information on a specific issue related to your business with an instantaneous response to their emails. For instance, when any of your prospect or client sends an email to info@yourdomain.com, the server can email your pre-designated message to the sender's email address automatically. Autoresponders can also be used for "vacation messsages" when used in conjunction with any user account. You will be able to create, edit, update and delete the autoresponders instantly using cPanel Web Control Panel 24 hours a day.

Web-based Control Panel

All Econo accounts have access to cPanel Web Control Panel, one of the finest, most user-friendly and secure web-based control panels available in the internet today. This allows you to create and manage email redirection addresses, autoresponders and POP3 email accounts, MySQL DBs, check your website's traffic statistics, and much more, with any standard web browser, from anywhere in the world, in real time without requiring any programming knowledge on your part. You could also access context-based help manuals directly from the cPanel Control Panel.

Detailed Traffic Statistics

For all Econo Hosting accounts, we offer you access to detailed traffic statistics for your website with an easy-to-understand graphic interface. You will also have access to the detailed referrer statistics for your site as well. If your visitors used links somewhere else in the internet to reach your site, then the referrer statistics will display those links for you. This is greatly useful for businesses that would like to relate their marketing strategies and advertising campaigns with incoming traffic and their sources. You will also have access to download raw server log files for your site through the control panel.

Your Own CGI-bin

The Econo Hosting accounts allow you to execute your own CGI applications. Your account comes with your own cgi-bin for placing your scripts.  You could deploy any custom script in your cgi-bin to meet your or your business needs, as long as the scripts are not using excessive resources or violating our acceptable use policies.

Counter Script

All Econo Hosting accounts have a basic access counter script available for your use. You can simply include an html tag in your web page to call the script, and it will print an image with the total number of times the page has been loaded by the visitors. You will be able to change the initial count and the number of digits that you would like to have the script to print for you.

Formmail Script

Econo Hosting accounts come with a CGI script that allows you to configure a formmail script to receive inputs entered by visitors in a web form located in you website. Web-based form is a great way of having orders, comments, inquiries or feedback from your visitors sent to your email address in a structured and professional way.

Server Side Includes

All Econo Hosting accounts allow you to use Server Side Includes in case you are using any CGI script that needs SSI. This allows you to use SSI directives in .shtml pages. Use of SSI requires additional server resources, since the .shtml files are also parsed for SSI commands.

MySQL Databases

All Econo Hosting accounts come with one or more MySQL 5 databases. MySQL databases are used by various online programs. Each database can contain multiple tables, and each table can contain multiple rows and columns. MySQL databases are invaluable to larger organizations or corporations as they allow for installation of various scripts and software that require database access.
 

Mime Types for 100+ Applications

We have mime types for 100+ applications, including shockwave flash, midi, mpeg, au, wav, wrl, vrml, qt, mov, zip and much more, pre-installed in the servers hosting the Econo accounts.  This allows your website to use any of these file types in your Econo hosting account.  When visitors browse through your site containing any of these application files, their browsers will be prompted to load the appropriate viewers/players to open the files associated with the mime-types.

Online Manual and Support

All Econo Hosting accounts come with a comprehensive contex-specific online manual pages that you will be able to access through cPanel Control Panel to get more information on how to use and manage the features for your account.  Also, you can contact our support staff if you have questions regarding any feature of our server that relates to your account.  We usually answer 80 percent of support questions in less than 6 hours, between 8 AM in the morning and 11 PM at night.
